Program Type:
Nature & AnimalsProgram Description
Event Details
Join us at Creek Bend Nature Center for a Winter Nature Walk.
Ages 5-10 with caregiver. Wild animals can be secretive and difficult to see especially in winter, but they often leave behind signs like scat, fur, tracks, and chew marks. By practicing our nature observation skills and questioning different types of animal signs, we will put together clues to discover where animals have been and what they have been doing when we weren't looking!
Space is limited. Please register each person attending (children and adults).
Meet the Naturalist and Messenger librarian just outside the entrance to the Creek Bend Nature Center, within the LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve (37W700 Dean St., St. Charles). It's the first building you see when you pull in. Please remember to dress for the weather!
